Nestled in peaceful Cornish countryside and just a short stroll from the sandy beach at Mawgan Porth, our Luxury Eco Cottages offer the perfect blend of seclusion, comfort, and sustainability.
Once derelict farm barns, they have been lovingly restored to a high standard, with striking floor-to-ceiling glass-fronted lounge extensions that frame wonderful views of the rolling hills. Each cottage is heated with underfloor ground-source heating and a cosy woodburner, while solar technology warms the water.
At Merlin Farm, ‘eco’ doesn’t mean compromising on comfort. You’ll find high-thread-count Egyptian cotton bed linen, soft bamboo-cotton bathrobes, fluffy bath sheets, and ‘Wild England’ organic, eco-friendly toiletries waiting for you.
Choose from Constantine (dog-free, ideal for guests with allergies), Porthcothan, or Harlyn. All three are decorated and laid out in a similar style: a ground-floor master bedroom with a king-size bed, a luxurious wet-room bathroom with waterfall taps, walk-in drench shower and bath, plus a loft bedroom with twin beds (zipped together on request in Porthcothan & Harlyn) and ensuite.
Powered by green electricity generated onsite, each cottage also has a private gated outdoor space with seating, where you can relax and soak up the countryside views.
