"We have recently returned from our annual winter holiday to Merlin Farm, and as usual it lived up to all expectations! This year we stayed in Trevone Cottage for the first time – it was really impressive and definitely has the wow factor when you walk in for the first time. Trevone is an extremely spacious detached cottage, set away from the other cottages allowing privacy in a peaceful setting. It has a large enclosed garden which was perfect for the dogs.The interior of the cottage is very well laid out and tastefully decorated. It is in keeping with the traditional feel of a barn (lovely high ceilings etc.), yet furnished in a contemporary style with all the mod cons needed for a self-catering holiday. It was always warm and welcoming to come home to after a day out walking (loved the underfloor heating!).The kitchen is large with plenty of worktop space and storage, and good quality appliances.
