The end of the Summer means the start of Autumn.  We love crisp cold mornings, bracing cliff top walks, deserted beaches, colourful woodlands and local cosy pubs with fireplaces.  All our cottages have heating and a wood burner so perfect for retreating back to after a day's exploring.

Here is a round up of local grocery deliveries, restaurants and takeaway services.

(All restaurants will be closing at 10pm in line with the latest Government restrictions)

The Cornish Food Box deliver fresh Cornish produce to your cottage so when you arrive you don't have to rush out to the supermarket.

Cornish Fresh in Mawgan Porth stocks a wide variety of groceries (open daily 8am-9pm) and serves takeaway Pizza from 12 noon - 8.30pm (menu on their website).

If you want your freezer stocked up with delicious homecooked meals for your stay then take a look at Angels in the Kitchen. Perfect for your first night's stay or as a back up for those evenings where you are late getting in after a day's exploring.

Baan Waan deliver delicious authentic Thai meals to your cottage. Delivered either hot, fresh or frozen to suit your requirements.

The Merrymoor Inn has an impressive Beer Garden overlooking the beach but if it's a bit chilly you may want to book a table indoors. To book telephone 01637 860258

Scott and Babs is a short woodland walk away and offers the tastiest wood fired pizza's. It's a rustic semi-outdoor setting (seating in an open sided marquee) so you will need to dress warm and you'll be required to wave a flag when you need feeding & watering! Tables of up to six can be booked online for the week ahead each Sunday at noon onwards. 

Catch Seafood Bar & Grill is offering a takeaway menu as well as dining in. You can view the takeaway menu on their website and make online table reservations.

The Travellers Rest at nearby Trevarrian will also soon be offering a takeaway service, check their website where they'll be posting their new takeaway menu soon. If you prefer to dine in you can book a table online.
