Access Statement

Merlin Farm welcome guests with disabilities but we do ask guests to bear the following in mind when considering any of our cottages.

Constantine Cottage

Constantine has been converted from original farm buildings on a slightly sloping site. Door openings comply with current building regulation. The car parking, pathways to the cottages and Patio areas are covered with gravel. There is a decking step into the property. The Kitchen/Diner/Lounge, Master bedroom and wetroom bathroom is on the ground floor, and a twin bedroom ensuite is situated on the first floor. The car park is within 50 meters to the entrance of the cottage.

Porthcothan Cottage

Porthcothan has been converted from original farm buildings on a slightly sloping site. Door openings comply with current building regulation. The car parking, pathways to the cottages and Patio areas are covered with gravel. There is a decking step into the property. There is a step leading from the kitchen/diner/lounge to the hallway which leads to the ground floor bedroom and bathroom. A twin bedroom ensuite is situated on the first floor. The car park is within 50 meters to the entrance of the cottage.

Harlyn Cottage

Harlyn has been converted from original farm buildings on a slightly sloping site. Door openings comply with current building regulation. There are 4 steps between the kitchen/diner/lounge and hallway leading to the ground floor bedroom and bathroom.  A Twin bedroom ensuite is situated on the first floor. The car parking, pathways to the cottages and Patio areas are covered with gravel. There is a decking step into the property. The car park is within 50 meters to the entrance of the cottage.
 

Trevone Cottage

Trevone has a parking space adjacent to the property. There is a gravel path that leads to the entrance of the property, approx 20 metres. Trevone is all on one level, there is just a small step into the entrance of the property. There is walk in shower and all the interior door openings are 75cm wide, apart from the exterior doorway which is 90cm wide.
 

Mawgan Porth

Mawgan Porth Village and Beach is within walking distance of the Farm, it takes approximately 15 minutes walk from the farm to the Beach and is mostly grass track until the public footpath. It is a mixture of steep downhill gradient and flat to the beach (I'm afraid that means steep uphill gradient on the way back ! ). There is car parking opposite the Beach should you decide to drive rather than walk
