Cycle Trails in Cornwall

Cornwall has some of the most picturesque and varied cycle trails in the UK. Cycle along rivers and coastlines, through woodlands and mining heritage sites, experiencing wildlife, flora and fauna along the way. Merlin Farm is the perfect place to base your 'cycle and stay' break in Cornwall. We are within a short drive of the county's cycle network and we have plenty of undercover space for you to secure your bikes. If you don't want to bring your own bikes you can easily hire them on most of the trails or have them delivered to your cottage by Cornwall Bike Hire. Please find below links to some of Cornwall's closest cycle routes and trails.

The Camel Trail:

The trail is 18 miles long but can be split in to 2 or 3;

Padstow to Wadebridge - 5.5 miles

Wadebridge to Bodmin - 5.75 miles

Bodmin to Wenfordbridge 6.25 miles 

(There's a lovely place to stop for lunch at Wenford - Snail's Pace Café)

The Goss Moor Trail

7 mile circular trail

Lanhydrock Trails:

1.5 mile easy trail and 1-2 mile moderate trails

Pentewan Valley Trail:

3.4 miles

Tehidy Country Park

The St Piran Trail: 34.5 miles

The Saints Way: Coast to Coast - 30 miles

The Mineral Tramways: 37.5 mile network

Cardinham Woods: 12km Moderate mountain bike trail

The Coast and clay trail: 45 miles
